LEVEL UP HR 23 | A Hybrid Conference for HR Professionals and Students
We are excited to announce that the Level Up Conference is back! Villanova HRD and VUSHRM will be hosting a hybrid, 2-day event open to all HR emerging leaders, students, HRD alumni, and HR professionals within our Villanova community and throughout the country! Join us Tuesday, March 28th and Wednesday, March 29th for networking, learning, and to continue to Level Up HR!
WHY?
As HR emerging leaders and students, we know that you are looking to "level up" your careers. You are building your passion for HR, increasing your network, and looking for opportunities to leverage your strengths into the right job opportunities. As current HR professionals, you may be looking to connect with others, change up your career, or refresh your knowledge. We hope that this conference will allow all people in HR, in any capacity, to do just that.
We have a group of amazing keynote speakers and breakout sessions for you to engage your passion and increase your knowledge in HR. We are building time into this conference for you to connect with HR professionals from a variety of industries. And, we hope that after these two days you will have made connections that help you LEVEL UP for years to come!
WHO?
The conference is open to all HR emerging leaders, HR students, HR professionals, and HRD alumni. Registration is required and the conference is limited to 300 participants. Registration can be found on the conference website.
5 SHRM recertification credits will be available for attending the full conference.
WHEN?
The conference will be completely virtual on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 will have a virtual opening keynote and an in-person closing keynote panel at the Inn at Villanova. The closing keynote will also be live-streamed for any virtual participants.

WHAT?
We are excited to announce that the opening keynote for the first day of the conference will be Rob Lawless, the founder of Rob's 10K Friends! On a mission to spend 1 hour, 1:1, with 10,000 different people, Rob Lawless speaks with an incredibly unique perspective through his goal of being intentional about connection and to treat it as an experience rather than a transaction.
On day 1, we will also have a networking breakout session where HR professionals from all over can connect and network with one another. Last year, there was a fantastic turnout for this session and we hope that this year follows that trend!
Our closing keynote for Level Up 23 will be a panel discussion titled Human Capital 2023 and Beyond: Critical Trends and Implications for HR Leaders. Geoffrey Marczyk, Villanova HRD Associate Direction and Teaching Professor, will be moderating this panel that features HR professionals from different industries and with unique experiences and backgrounds. We hope that those who are local can join in-person for what will turn out to be a fantastic discussion on HR topics and trends.
